Meg's life has taken a turn for the perfect. She is the envy of millions with her drop dead gorgeous husband, their two beautiful sons and her new mansion in Henley. Her celebrity PA days are over. But desperate to keep up with her rock star husband, Johnny Jefferson, she uproots her perfect family and moves back to LA.

Meg has to learn to live with her new celebrity status and the insecurities of her old life, which keep reappearing. Under the paparazzi flash of an A-List party, complete with red carpet, champagne and canapés, Johnny's rock star past catches up with him and Meg's worst nightmare becomes a reality...

Yay! After pining for a chance to read Johnny's Girl, I finally got to do so and I have Paige Toon to thank for making it free on all eBook platforms in conjunction with the publication of her second YA novel, I Knew You Were Trouble which is out later this month.

As you all know, I have been a massive fan of Paige Toon and Johnny Be Good was one of the earlier novels of Paige's I read and totally enjoyed! Johnny's Girl is an eBook short story that picks up where Baby Be Mine left off, where Meg and Johnny are blissfully married and they seem to have ticked all the life goals. Successful career: check. Glorious mansion: check. Bouncing little babies: check. But when Johnny receives news that he has a daughter in the UK, that's when his biggest fears come to life.

Think of Johnny's Girl as a prequel to Paige Toon's debut YA novel, The Accidental Life of Jessie Jefferson as Paige gives us a more in-depth glimpse into the lives of our favourite characters in Paige Toon World. A lovely warm up to Jessie's story, you shouldn't miss Johnny's Girl! Hurry up and get it now as it's free until August 3rd!
