Leaving Hannah was the biggest mistake of Marco's life-something he has deeply regretted for years. So when fate reunites them, he refuses to let her go without a fight. Determined to make her his, Marco pursues Hannah, reminding her of all the reasons they're meant to be together...
But just when Marco thinks they're committed to a future together, Hannah makes a discovery that unearths the secret pain she's been hiding from him-a secret that could tear them apart before they have a real chance to start over again...
I've read every book in the On Dublin Street series and I was so excited to be asked to review Fall from India Place! The things I love about Samantha Young's books are their intense romance scenes and heroes who will make you melt, literally.
If you've been following the series since the first book, you'll be familiar with the central characters in this book, well because it's a series. Really, Kev? OK, here's the deal. You probably remember Braden and Ellie's little sister, Hannah? Adorable, sweet, bookish girl? Well, she's all grown up now. Fall from India Place takes place 7 years after the events of the third book and if you've not read the previous books, I urge you to.
It's been 7 years since the events of Before Jamaica Lane and Hannah is all grown up! Focusing on her teaching career, she has let go of her past and that fateful night with Marco. Her seemingly perfect life crumbles when she comes face to face with the man who left her with nothing but deep regret and a shattered heart. Marco is back and he wants Hannah to know that he's truly sorry what happened and is adamant to make things right with her - getting her back is the only option.
The reason why Samantha Young’s books really work for me is because of its really intense, romantic love between the characters. I loved the chemistry they have and the thrill of the chase when the guy gives his all to get the girl. I know, I’d love to be swept off my feet by one of them, hand on heart (preferably Braden Carmichael). In Fall from India Place, Marco D’Alessandro is everything a girl wants in a guy. He’s passionate, thoughtful, caring and a fierce lover. The book is fully packed with emotions, its pages are dripping with them – love, carnal lust, heartbreak – to name a few.
Of course, there will be great revelation of why Marco left poor Hannah on the fateful night, but the suspense is good enough to keep you reading on. I was really cross with Marco for what he did have a perfectly legit reason to, though he was an idiot to leave without explaining things to Hannah. The book has a series of flashbacks, when Hannah stumbles upon her teenage diary and readers are able to catch a glimpse into Hannah and Marco’s blossoming friendship.
Fall from India Place is an emotionally gripping tale of letting go of the past and learning to move on. It is also about forgiveness and following your heart. I cheered for Marco to win over Hannah’s heart again, I do hope this is not the last book of the series, I’d be devastated if it is.

When Hannah Nichols last saw Marco D'Alessandro five long years ago, he broke her heart. The bad boy with a hidden sweet side was the only guy Hannah ever loved-and the only man she's ever been with. After one intense night of giving in to temptation, Marco took off, leaving Scotland and Hannah behind. Shattered by the consequences of their night together, Hannah has never truly moved on.
