Book News : The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris by Jenny Colgan

As dawn breaks over the Pont Neuf, and the cobbled alleyways of the great city start to come to life, Anna Trent is already awake and at work; already mixing and stirring the finest, smoothest, richest chocolate to be found anywhere; made entirely by hand and sold for a fortune in tiny amounts to the grandes dames of Paris.

It is a huge shift from the chocolate factory she worked in back home in the north of England - that is, until an accident changed everything, and Anna was thrown back in touch with her high school French teacher, Claire, who offered her the chance of a lifetime - to work in Paris with her former sweetheart, Thierry, a master chocolatier.

With old wounds about to be uncovered and healed, Anna is set to discover more about real chocolate - and herself - than she ever dreamed.

I loved Jenny Colgan's Meet Me At The Cupcake Cafe and I was thrilled when she has a sequel to it, Chirstmas At The Cupcake Cafe, out in October. Then, her book of 2013, which will be The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris. Now, who doesn't love chocolate and to top it off, Paris? Gosh, I'm practically sighing at the gorgeous cover. Royal purple with light gold. The design team at Sphere are really good, intricate chocolate designs and little adorable motifs. Divine! The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris will be out in March 2013.
