I read Jane Green's Jemima J, one of her earlier novels and it was a fabulous beach read - good old school chick lit. Considered as one of the pioneers of chick lit, she is an amazing writer and well, she's known for her heartbreaking tales of families struggling with life, loving moments with each other.
