Blurb:
Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare..

Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well - until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street, where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.

Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he's determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.

But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won't be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her . . . down to the very soul.

Why you would love this:
If you loved the Crossfire series and the Beautiful series, I'm very sure that On Dublin Street will be up on your street! And if you've got a thing for a sexy, drop-dead gorgeous Scotsman, then this book is definitely for you!

On Dublin Street follows the story of Jocelyn Butler, who moves to Scotland after a horrific tragedy which left her without her family and a collection of bitter memories. When she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street, she is unaware of the consequences and the position she has put herself into. Enter Braden Carmichael - rich, sexy as hell and utterly irresistible. As they learn more about each other, Jocelyn's carefully constructed wall which keeps her safe from any harm starts cracking, but is Braden's relationship with her saving her from her past? Or the undoing of her?

For me, the heroine, Jocelyn was kick-arse, spunky and feisty. I liked how daring she can be when she's with Braden and she's an amazing leading lady - independent and sassy. Surely, she had an awful past and she's still haunted by it, but I feel that she has depth and very real, even as a character, where Samantha Young successfully convey actual feelings through her heroine. Ooh, don't get me started on Braden. Oh hot damn, he can give Matt Bomer a run for his money! I really warmed up to the characters in the book, especially Braden's sister and Jocelyn's flatmate, Ellie! I adored her, even though she's a bit spoilt by Braden, but her kind and sweet nature overlooks that.

The plot was very well written and Jocelyn and Braden's relationship progressed at a very stable pace, though a bit frustrating when Jocelyn was resisting Braden's advances and finally, when the intensity was too much for them, boom! You know what happens, but it was explosive and really, really delicious (to read about!). By the way, On Dublin Street is New Adult, with a few "racy" scenes, but you're in for a treat if you loved Beautiful Disaster!

An explosive debut by Samantha Young, an author whose books I will be looking forward to reading more. A tantalising, delicious book which you will devour and enjoy.

Rating: 9/10

EMMA WATSON as Jocelyn
Yay for Emma! I adore her and she's definitely a rising star!

MATT BOMER as Braden
OK, you can imagine how I felt about Braden since I dare say Matt would be perfect.
