'Your bum does not look big in that dress.'
'Mmmm, this meal is delicious!'
'Of course you're better looking than Jon Hamm.'

Newly engaged Natalie Butterworth is an easy-going girl. She'll do anything for a quiet life and if telling a few teensy white lies keeps her friends and family happy, then so what? It's not like they'll ever discover what she's really thinking...

Until one night, thanks to a pub hypnotist, Natalie's most private thoughts begin to bubble up and pop out of her mouth. Things get very messy indeed, especially when some sticky home truths offend her fiancé.

Natalie must track down the hypnotist before her wedding is officially cancelled. So along with bad influence bestie Meg, Natalie finds herself in the Yorkshire Parish of Little Trooley – a small village bursting with big secrets, nosy old folk and intriguing Wellington-wearing men.

When the girls get stuck in the village with no means of escape and no way to break the hypnotist's spell, Natalie is forced to face the truths she has been avoiding her whole life...

Why you would love this:
I'm pretty sure if you're a follower of chick lit, you'd come across a website called Novelicious. If you have, then you'll know who Kirsty is. She's the editor and founder of Novelicious, and she can add "Kevin's favourite author" on her list of credentials. Yours Truly is her debut novel, which was originally self-published, but Caroline Hogg, women's fiction editor at PanMacmillan has made a fantastic move by publishing her. So yes, ladies and gentlemen who love chick lit, it's out in paperback!

Yours Truly is about Natalie Butterworth, newly engaged and a girl who keeps her family and friends happy by telling tiny white lies. But if it keeps trouble from stirring into her life, then it's definitely worth it, right? Not really. Then she falls under the spell of a hypnotist, she can't seem to hold on to her thoughts - private ones too! Talk about verbal diarrhoea! Natalie must track down said hypnotist in order to reverse his spell before she hurts her loved ones.

Ah ha! This is one book that will be with me forever. I can't seem to forget how much I loved it. The heroine, Natalie is such a brilliant leading lady. She's funny, down to earth and very adorable! I warmed up to her immediately, right from chapter one as she's definitely a character you'd root for. She reminds me of Bridget Jones and Rebecca Bloomwood - possibly sisters separated at birth! Well, minus the cigarette and alcohol bingeing and shopping addiction! The other characters, especially the dashing hero of the story, Riley, were very well-written! They were really wonderful to read about and every one of them fitted with the plot perfectly. I wish I could gush about what an amazing hero Riley is, but I would be really cross with myself if I were to spoil it for you.

I can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed it! This book had me laughing right from the start, definitely worth keeping and rereading over and over again! Also, I fell in love with the cover the moment Kirsty revealed it on Twitter and it's absolutely magical! A hilarious, light-hearted story of a girl you will be delighted to call your friend, coming across unexpected predicaments and of course, finding her own prince charming.

Kirsty Greenwood writes with such charm and flair that you cannot help but love what she writes! I am a massive fan of her books, period. I strongly urge you to read Yours Truly as you won't be disappointed by this fabulous book.

Get ready, everyone. A sparkling, original and laugh out loud debut that you will fall in love with. I know I have! I laughed, I gasped, I giggled, I swooned and I loved Yours Truly. I dare say Kirsty Greenwood is on the same level as some of the chick lit big names. Watch out, Ms Kinsella, Kirsty is already snapping at your heels!

Rating: A whooping 10/10!

Emma Stone as Natalie, JOEL PEAT FROM LAWSON as Riley and I couldn't help myself.. Carly Chaikin from Suburgatory as Dionne.
