10 Books You Should Read This Christmas!

Christmas is that special time of the year where everything is jolly and full of hearth. The season of goodwill and sharing as well as fabulous books! This year we are blessed with a fabulous array of Christmas-themed books and since I love anything that is Christmas, I've compiled a list of books you MUST read this festive season!

I Heart Christmas by Lindsey Kelk

Whoohoo! Lindsey Kelk is back this Christmas with another fabulous I Heart book! I adore the previous I Heart books and I Heart Christmas is another delightful treat that will put you in the Christmas spirit! As always, the characters in the I Heart series were as charming as they were since book one!

Angela is back and Christmas for her this year will be a different one. Well, she is now happily married to the gorgeous rock God, Alex and she's got her dream job. But since nothing ever goes according to her plans, there are bound to be a few curveballs! Curl up with I Heart Christmas and be whisked away to the beautiful New York City during Christmastime!

The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Lisa Dickenson

One of the ultimate favourite Christmas books ever. Debut author Lisa Dickenson has a knack for writing heartwarming and hilarious romantic comedies. The Twelve Dates of Christmas is a six-part ebook which you will devour.

Claudia hasn't been happy in her relationship with her boyfriend, Seth for a very long time. After a disastrous date, Claudia is heartbroken and single. Determined to turn her life around, Claudia embarks on a quest to find the love of her life by Christmas, with the help of her best friends Nick and Penny! Delectable, funny and heartwarming - you'll be blown away!

Calling Mrs Christmas by Carole Matthews

The queen of Christmas is back! Carole Matthews, famous for her heartwarming and festive novels, writes a fantastically wonderful Christmas novel this year, Calling Mrs Christmas which I really, really enjoyed! It was fabulously festive and a part of the book was set in Lapland which was utterly gorgeous.

In Calling Mrs Christmas, the heroine, Cassie Smith has been made redundant and her days of an unemployed revolves around the four walls of her flat which she shares with her boyfriend, Jim. Determined to celebrate Christmas with her loved ones, she doesn't allow their financial crisis to dampen their festive mood. Hence, Calling Mrs Christmas is born! An absolute treat for Christmas with a love story you won't forget!

Yours Truly by Kirsty Greenwood

One of my utmost favourite books this year, Yours Truly is also my Christmas pick! A funny, original and unputdownable debut novel which will blown you away and I strongly urge you to pick this gem up! With a really down-to-earth heroine and an entire cast of zany characters, you will not be disappointed!

The heroine of Yours Truly, Natalie Butterworth, has been telling little white lies. A lot. Well, she's only doing so to protect her family and friends' feelings, but on one fateful night, she falls under a spell of a pub hypnotist, and suddenly, she's blurting everything that comes to her mind! Filled with hilarious dialogue and laugh-out-loud moments, Yours Truly is as charming as romantic comedies get.

A Gift to Remember by Melissa Hill

Melissa Hill is back for the second time this year after releasing The Guest List earlier this year with a Christmassy book, A Gift to Remember! Set in New York City with a very engaging plot and wonderfully written characters, this book shall not be missed this Christmas!

Darcy Archer has always been a big believer in fairytales and happy endings. I guess it's all because of her love for a good book and a pension for dashing heroes (Mr Darcy! She is definitely my new best friend). One day, she gets involved in an accident, where her bicycle knocks down a man, who is immediately knocked out cold. With a dog in tow, she unravels more into the handsome stranger's life as he regains his memory. Truly delightful and heartwarming. Loved it - definitely A Gift to Remember!

Just For Christmas by Scarlett Bailey

Famous for her hearty and warm Christmas books, Scarlett Bailey is back this Christmas with Just For Christmas! I loved Married By Christmas which I read last year and I am really excited to sink my teeth into Scarlett Bailey's latest!

Just For Christmas starts off when Alex Munro discovers that the love of her life is marrying another girl, determined to relief herself from further heartbreak, she heads to spend Christmas on her own. Arriving in a cottage far from home, she soon settles down, little does she know, a new flame will start to ignite, mending her heartbreak - a Christmas love story, perhaps?

Wish Upon A Star by Trisha Ashley

Crowned as the Queen of Christmas by her readers, Trisha Ashley returns this Christmas with a touching, heartwarming book, Wish Upon A Star which will pull your heartstrings while getting you into the festive mood!

Wish Upon A Star follows the story of single mother, Cally who makes a life-changing decision to care for her daughter, Stella. Juggling single motherhood and her busy job as a food writer, she's left romance cold in her life. But can the extremely sexy and handsome Jago fix things (mend her broken heart) and would Cally get the Christmas miracle she has always wanted?

The Proposal by Tasmina Perry

Tasmina Perry, writer of bonkbusters set in the most exotic locations in the world, infusing mystery and intrigue into her stories has decided to write a book on a completely different level and it's quite surprising to read it in her latest book, The Proposal! The wonderful storyteller she is, Tasmina Perry has written a brilliant book that will captivate you this Christmas!

The Proposal centres two women of different ages, Amy and Georgia. Amy is in a rut with her love life and struggling when it comes to pursuing her dream. Georgia has lived a life of luxury and glamour, a life coveted by many, but despite all her efforts to lead a fabulous life, she has never truly fulfilled her life-long dream: visit New York City. Tasmina Perry cleverly weaves the tales of these women into an emotional roller-coaster of a book, which you will no doubt fall in love with!

How To Fall in Love by Cecelia Ahern

The Queen of Modern Fairytales is back this year with an absolutely stunning book, How To Fall in Love which literally blew me away! I'm no stranger to what Cecelia Ahern has to offer in her books, therefore I had high hopes for her latest and guess what? It was better than I ever expected!

On one fateful day, Christine encounters a man on a bridge. It isn't any sort of meet-and-greet, this man was poised to jump off the bridge. Determined to save the man from making the biggest mistake of his life, Christine promises him that she would teach him how to fall in love again, with life. Immensely funny with a touch of dark humour and witty beyond comparison, Cecelia Ahern's How To Fall In Love is definitely one of my favourites of all time!

Christmas at Carrington's by Alexandra Brown

Alexandra Brown, author of my new favourite series, the Carrington's series, is back this Christmas with a Christmas-themed book, Christmas at Carrington's! I simply adored her debut novel, Cupcakes at Carrington's and I was crazy excited to read the sequel and let me tell you - it didn't disappoint!

Following the events of Cupcakes at Carrington's, Georgie finds herself in a very happy place, her job at Carrington's is secured and best of all, she's nabbed herself a really handsome man - Mr Carrington! But when Tom drops the biggest bombshell ever, Georgie's life is about to be changed, dramatically! Caught in the whirlwind of cameras and paparazzi, Georgie has to come to terms with things, whether they it's reality versus reality telly! Funny, charming and very irresistible!
