Blurb:
Sally is an incredible singer and – with the possible exception
of food – she loves singing more than anything else in the world.
Unfortunately, she only loves singing in her wardrobe where nobody can
hear her: she’d rather cut her head off than sing in public.
For years she’s managed to hide her prodigious talent and has worked
as a wardrobe mistress at the Royal Opera House but, thanks to some
strong emotional blackmail at the hands of Fiona – Sally’s cousin –
Sally has agreed to start Opera school.
But the night before term starts, a man turns up on Sally’s
doorstep with a mysterious post-it note in his hand. With him come the
best and worst memories of Sally’s life and she is swiftly reduced to
the consistency of blancmange. How did he find her? Why is he here? And
what in the name of Zebedee is she going to do about the promise she
made last time she saw him?
AWESOMENESS OVERLOAD! The craziest (in a good way) author I know, Lucy Robinson is back with another new book and I'm just loving the title! I adore her novels as they are achingly funny and her heroines are just simply lovable!
The Unfinished Symphony of You and Me is out on 7th Jul 2014.
I have heard so many good things about Lucy's books and I LOVE the sound of this one so I'm going to have to check her out! :)
ReplyDeleteYOU MUST! I just love her books.
