Hello, readers!
Everything old is new again! Back in the day
Charles Dickens serialized his novels, so HarperImpulse thought it might
be fun to do the same thing with one of today’s books. So welcome to
the “series” known as “It Girl.”
Since the book is set in the world of television,
you won’t be reading “parts” but “episodes.” And, as is the common
practice with TV entertainment, each episode will have a recap and a
coming attraction. A new episode will be released
every few days, so you can follow the story as it comes out, or wait
for the entire book and “binge read” on June 26th. Think of it as Netflix with a novel.
I’m thankful for the help on this experiment from
my wonderful editor Charlotte Ledger and the support from HarperCollins
Publishing Director Kimberley Young. This was their idea and I’m
thrilled I was chosen to be a part of it.
