Blog Tour: One Hundred Proposals by Holly Martin - Favourite Proposals

Hey, people!

Please help me welcome Holly Martin, author of The Guestbook and recently published, One Hundred Proposal! Today, she shares her favourite proposals! Over to you, Holly!

In One Hundred Proposals, Harry proposes to Suzie in one hundred different ways. Tiny little heartfelt gestures, funny proposals, unusual proposals and great big epic proposals.

I’m not sure how I would like to be proposed to, whether something big would embarrass me or whether I would love the amount of effort my man had put into the proposal.

But big proposals certainly work for some people. I suppose for some men, when they find the woman they love they really do want to shout it from the rooftops.

Here are some of my favourite BIG proposals:

This one is EPIC from the fact that the guy hired out a movie theatre, to the whole dramatic trailer that he created, the humour, the romance and the fact it’s been watched by over 29 million people probably makes this proposal the biggest proposal of all time.

I love this, especially when the marching band comes on. Who doesn’t love a marching band?

This one has it all, family, friends, fireworks, dancing, a song, and even a quiet, sweet proposal on the beach.

But sometimes you don’t need the big proposals, sometimes the small gestures are enough. This girl was bought with a little blue police box and a bow tie and this video has the best reaction ever.

And sometimes it doesn’t need to be a big gesture, all you need is a few candles and Louis Armstrong, this one is very cute.

'What would you do if your heart said yes but your head said no? What if the love of your life proposed one hundred times, could you still say no?'

Blurb:
‘Is there really such a thing as a perfect proposal?

Over the next hundred days I intend to find out. I will find one hundred ways to propose to our Chief Proposer Suzie McKenzie and post the results here for your enjoyment. One thing’s for sure, not one of my proposals will be on top of the Eiffel Tower with a dozen red roses.’

Best friends Suzie and Harry are partners in romance. That is, they run the.PerfectProposal.com, coming to the aid of would-be grooms to create the ultimate marriage proposal.

But when Harry decides to catapult the business into the big leagues with a PR stunt all Suzie can see is a hundred days of heartbreak stretching ahead of her. But however exotic the location, or breath-takingly romantic the setting, Suzie has to keep remembering that ‘Marry Me?’ is the one question she can’t say yes to.

This business proposal should come with one hundred broken heart warnings...

One hundred proposals, one hundred chances to say yes.
