Blurb:
Whip-smart, hardworking, and on her way to an MBA, Chloe Mills has only one problem: her boss, Bennett Ryan. He’s exacting, blunt, inconsiderate—and completely irresistible. A Beautiful Bastard.

Bennett has returned to Chicago from France to take a vital role in his family’s massive media business. He never expected that the assistant who’d been helping him from abroad was the gorgeous, innocently provocative—completely infuriating—creature he now has to see every day. Despite the rumors, he’s never been one for a workplace hookup. But Chloe’s so tempting he’s willing to bend the rules—or outright smash them—if it means he can have her. All over the office

As their appetites for one another increase to a breaking point, Bennett and Chloe must decide exactly what they’re willing to lose in order to win each other.

Oh, I’ve wanted to read this book for longest time ever. After reading Fifty Shades, everyone was talking about The Office and now it’s a book! It’s been reworked and published as Beautiful Bastard and I can’t tell you how excited I was to get it in the post!

Beautiful Bastard is a story about love. Ha. Not really. It’s more than that, first of all, it’s a romance novel so you can expect a lot of ripped knickers and bite marks and ruffled hair. Chloe Mills is a hardworking intern in Ryan Media Inc. and she’s proven herself as an asset to the company by being fearless and efficient. It seems like the perfect job for her, if it weren’t for her dick of a boss, Bennett Ryan. Chloe and Bennett can’t stand each other. But after a very hot and steamy encounter in the office, they are left confused. If they hated each other so much, why does the sex feel so good?

Okay, I confess. I told myself I shouldn’t read too much erotica because I wouldn’t be able to stop. But hell, Beautiful Bastard isn’t just your average erotica. It’s more than that. It’s deep, passionate and awfully addictive. It explores love and attraction at its most dangerous and it is fuelled with emotions – lust, possessiveness, love, protectiveness, jealousy, just to name a few.

I think the main characters, Chloe and Bennett were fantastically written. I loved their quick-wittedness, their ballsy attitudes and smart mouths. I couldn’t stop reading Beautiful Bastard – I stayed up late just to finish it and I devoured this saucy read in a day. Filled with sharp, clever dialogue and a dangerously sexy man, what more can you ask for? At times, okay, most of the time, I wanted to shout “Damn, Bennett. DO ME!” and “Chloe, you lucky cow. You have no idea how much I want to punch your boob now..”.

Since Beautiful Bastard is the first of the series, I cannot wait to read more of Bennett and Chloe’s romantic escapades. What I loved most about their story is that they started off hating each other, and then slowly, they develop feelings for each other and ultimately falling in love. It’s the thrill of the chase and I couldn’t get enough of the amazing scenes and palpable sexual tension. I admit, I fell a little bit more in love with Bennett in the end. I WANT HIM.

Zoey Deutch as Chloe and Robert Pattinson as Bennett. I am having thoughts now..
