Blurb:
Paris. City of love, city of romance. The last place you want to go to on a work trip when you're in the middle of an epic dry spell. But that's where Poppy is headed, along with her colleague Charlie, who's shallow and annoying but very, very good-looking. During a white-wine-fuelled session with her friend Alice, Poppy concocts the perfect plan: work by day, and have some no-strings fun with Charlie by night. Of course, it might prove a little more complicated than that, but it's nothing Poppy can't handle - or is it?

I really enjoyed Nicola Doherty’s books, especially her latest one, If I Could Turn Back Time, which was so good. When I got the chance to review Poppy Does Paris, the first book in Nicola’s new eBook series, Girls On Tour, I couldn’t say no!

Poppy Does Paris follows the story of editor Poppy who is sent to Paris with her very handsome, but annoying colleague, Charlie, to meet with a hotshot writer. Determined to finally jump Charlie, she’s on a mission to have some sexy time with him! Can Poppy take control of everything when she’s buoyed by the charm of Paris and the presence of the incredibly gorgeous writer?

Since Poppy Does Paris is a part of Girls On Tour, the story is pretty short and sweet. Personally, I think Paris is gorgeous and I would love to visit someday. Nicola Doherty managed to illustrate the City of Lights in its full glory and I loved reading the descriptions of the beautiful landmarks and surroundings.

Funny, delectable and utterly satisfying, Poppy Does Paris is a delicious holiday read. I cannot wait for the future books in the series. Get your fix of chick lit from Nicola Doherty’s new series, you won’t be disappointed.

Lenora Crichlow as Poppy and Ryan Reynolds (look at the smile!) as Charlie
