#HIFortnight: Interview with Teresa F. Morgan PLUS Giveaway!

In conjunction with #HIFortnight, or HarperImpulse Fortnight, I've got Teresa F. Morgan, author of the newly published One Fine Day with us today for an interview!

1. Could you tell us about your book deal moment?
Way back in July 2013, Charlotte Ledger at HarperImpulse emailed me to ask when would be a good time to call me to discuss my first book (now called Plus One is a Lucky Number). At the time, I had four boys in the house (two of them weren’t mine) and knew I wouldn’t be able to hold a professional conversation with kids screaming and shouting in the background, so asked if she could call me the following day. She was so eager to discuss her news that she asked if it was okay to email it instead. I said yes, and her next email was offering me a two book contract. It was a good job I was sitting down while reading the email! I was so excited.

2. Your latest book, One Fine Day is out now. Could you describe it in less 10 words?
This is tough! Here you go: Superhero hides behind a disguise to find his true love.

3. You write romance. Do you read romance? If you do, who's your favourite author?
Yes of course I do! I love Choc Lit author Sue Moorcroft actually – she creates really fanciable heroes. And one of my favourite Mills and Boon authors is Liz Fielding. Even though she writes sweet romances, the pages sizzle with sexual chemistry.

4. Have you read anything you really enjoyed lately? Mind sharing it with us?
The last romance novel I read was Do You Remember? By Mandy Baggot. Thoroughly enjoyed this. It starts with a teenage holiday romance, flashing back between past and present with a couple of  twists to the story.

5. What are you currently working on? Can you give us a little sneak peek?
It really is in first draft stage, so won’t say too much but I’m working on book 3. The hero and heroine are neighbours and they have a love/hate relationship. When Maddy’s house is on fire, Harry reluctantly comes to Maddy’s rescue... Forced together, they both learn to love again.

AND! The best part is.. well, there's a giveaway. YES, Teresa is giving away ONE copy of One Fine Day to a lucky reader! Just comment below, telling me who YOUR superhero is to stand a chance to win! Ends on 8th May 2015. Good luck!
