Blog Tour: Moonlight on Nightingale Way by Samantha Young - Author Interview

As part of the Moonlight on Nightingale Way blog tour to celebrate Samantha Young's latest book in her best-selling and well-loved On Dublin Street series, I have been given the wonderful opportunity to interview her and here's what we talked about!

1. Moonlight on Nightingale Way is your 6th book in the On Dublin Street series! Did you really plan to write so many novels in the series?

Nope, not at all. On Dublin Street started as a standalone. It was my first adult contemporary romance so I had no idea how readers would react to me in this genre. With On Dublin Street’s success came readers’ requests for more and I was delighted to jump back into the ODS world again to plan the series from there.

2. Could you describe Moonlight on Nightingale Way in less than 10 words?

An emotional, real, funny, heartwarming story of passion and redemption.

3. What can your readers expect from your latest book? Will it feature the beloved characters from the previous books? Please say yes!

Yes! Moonlight follows the same theme as the rest of the series—the importance of family, whether it’s the family you are born with or a family you’ve had to make. The rest of the characters from the series have all been through family difficulties and they are there to welcome Grace and Logan into their fold. Expect a ton of good-natured mocking, funny stories and amazing support from the tribe.

4. Of all the books you've written, which is your favourite and why?

Oh that is so difficult. I don’t really have one favourite book in particular. They all mean something to me in their own way. I did thoroughly enjoy writing Moonlight On Nightingale Way, however, because of the characters. Logan is more alpha that some of my previous ODS heroes (he and Braden are very similar in those regards), and he has this unique history that really took me on an emotional journey with him. And Grace. Oh man, I love Grace. I think she’s one of the most kind and compassionate characters I’ve written.

5. Quickfire Round!
